About Us
Sands Pharmacy is situated in one
of the Georgian properties that surround the Greens in the centre of
the Market Place of Norfolk's historic Burnham Market
The property was built c.1700. It became a
pharmacy in 1835 when the first pharmacist Henry Nash bought the
property. Since then there
have been eight pharmacists, the present owner being Brian Symonds
MRPharmS, who took over 20 years ago.
The building is Grade 11 listed. The cottage door architrave
with fluted pilasters and frieze is early 19th C, as is the Pharmacy
shop front bow window. |
